Accounting Associate

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. The Accounting Associate will support the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting as needed.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide administrative support to senior accountants and finance management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2 + years of accounting or finance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

PAY: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 depending on experience, plus benefits.
