Reports To: Product Engineering Manager

Description: Performs engineering and technical assignments relating to BOM development. Makes various calculations used in development of BOM usages and routings.

Responsibilities:

• Anticipates potential schedule or priority duties and initiates plans for alternative actions.
• Identifies potential or existing problems, performs analysis and provides counter measures.
• Assists in development of engineering plans, designs and analysis of new materials.
• Support and attend required customer and internal functional trials/meetings as requested.
• Maintain all engineering documents, drawings, files, other.
• Design, create and maintain all bills of material functions, as well as support for all departments as it may relate.
• Investigate, prepare, distribute and revise all aspects of the component lists.
• Accesses computer generated drawings and documents as required .
• Attends meetings and provide support/documentation for various marketing and sales requests.
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
• Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer

EDUCATION:

• B.S.M.E. or B.S. Degree with a concentration of course work in industrial technology, industrial or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution preferred

EXPERIENCE :

• 3 years' experience as Product Engineering Technician

SKILLS:

• Computer skills in working with Windows operating system as well as Word Processor, Spreadsheet software.
• Basic typing proficiency

OTHER:

• Good organizational skills.
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to travel with limited notice.

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands:

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds The employee may also be required to work in hot temperatures
