SportsMED is currently seeking a full-time Durable Medical Equipment Technician for our Brace Shop at the Huntsville location Monday-Friday. The DME tech will be responsible for checking in and unloading stock orders, managing the inventory system, processing returned braces, measure, fit and instruct patients on proper brace usage, and look up and calculate brace costs based on insurance deductibles and co-insurances. There may be minimal travel to our other offices in Madison, Athens, and Decatur.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- 2 years of insurance verification experience
- Excellent customer service skills
