Retail Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Cashier. If you have a passion for serving others, then join the Tailwind team! As a Retail Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases.
• Inspect Gift Shop and packaged food area to maintain store appearance, organization, etc..
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Process returns and exchanges following company policies.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Proven experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with POS systems.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background check to receive an airport badge.
• Must be able to lift 25-30lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
