Position Overview

The Transportation Growth Specialist is responsible for driving market growth through business development, community engagement, and strategic outreach initiatives. Working closely with local leadership, you will serve as a key representative of zTrip, developing partnerships, increasing brand visibility, and supporting initiatives that contribute to long-term growth and success.

Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Growth Specialist:Market Development & Growth

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand ridership and increase revenue
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and community leaders
• Manage leads, prospects, and partnerships through CRM systems
• Schedule and conduct presentations, meetings, and business development activities
• Cultivate long-term relationships through consistent follow-up and strategic engagement
• Develop partnerships and growth initiatives that strengthen zTrip’s market presence

Community Engagement & Brand Representation

• Serve as a professional ambassador for zTrip throughout the Birmingham community
• Attend networking events, business functions, community gatherings, and industry events
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders and local decision-makers
• Represent zTrip within Chambers of Commerce, professional associations, and community organizations
• Increase awareness of zTrip services through outreach and community involvement

Marketing & Promotional Initiatives

• Support local marketing campaigns and promotional programs
• Assist with social media engagement and community-focused marketing efforts
• Coordinate grassroots outreach activities to drive brand awareness and customer engagement
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance visibility and market penetration
• Support customer communications and promotional initiatives that strengthen community connections

Operations & Team Collaboration

• Participate in recruiting events and driver engagement programs
• Support customer service initiatives and relationship-building efforts
• Collaborate with leadership on special projects and growth-focused strategies
• Act as a liaison between community partners and internal departments
• Help identify opportunities to improve customer experience and community impact
