Summary of Position:

The purpose of this position is to manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility,

EHS:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients.
  • Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work.
  • Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed.
  • Responsible for facilities inspections and reports.
  • Coordinates and manages moves, add and change activities.
  • Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Manages capital projects. Prepares capital project and operating budget and variance reports.
  • Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures.
  • Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must have 5-10 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience at an Automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supplier is preferred

Technical/ Computer Skills:

  • Knowledgeable of applicable building codes, zoning codes and approval process
  • Licensure in Civil Engineering preferred but not required
  • Experienced in managing projects from beginning to end
  • Working knowledge of current version of AutoCAD
  • Must be proficient with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
