Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference for K-12 students as a speech-language pathologist in a vibrant school community near Smiths Station, AL. This role allows you to put your expertise in pediatric and school-based SLP practice into action and help students achieve their communication goals. The assignment runs from 8/10/2026 through 5/27/2027, and you’ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Caseload size and specific school details will be discussed further during the interview for a completely transparent process.
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLP license required
- Open to SLP professionals with Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric and/or school settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for K-12 students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Consult on IEP teams and contribute to student success plans
- Deliver therapy in individual and group settings
