Long-Lewis of Decatur is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead the daily operations of our dealership. This leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, developing high-performing teams, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position offers a competitive compensation package with earning potential of $100,000–$200,000+ annually. Responsibilities- Lead, support, and develop the dealership management team.
- Oversee daily dealership operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Drive sales performance across all departments while identifying opportunities for continued growth.
- Help strengthen and expand used vehicle sales performance.
- Foster a customer-first culture and ensure an outstanding ownership experience.
- Monitor dealership budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the sales department.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a best-in-class sales leadership team.
- Maintain strong collaboration between Sales, Finance, Service, and Parts departments.
- Lead by example through a hands-on approach with both customers and employees.
- Proven experience in automotive dealership management.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth and operational performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
