Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required
• Eligibility for SLPA licensure or current SLPA certification in accordance with state requirements
• Experience supporting speech, language, and communication needs within a school setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage children, families, and school staff
• Organizational abilities to adapt to diverse caseloads and educational programs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver therapy and interventions for K-12 students
• Conduct speech-language screenings, assist in carrying out individualized education plans, and maintain thorough documentation
• Support classroom teachers and families by providing resources and strategies for student success
• Help to monitor progress and adapt interventions under the supervision of a certified SLP
• Contribute positively to the school culture by attending team meetings and participating in ongoing professional development
