Seeking anAI Engineerwith a strong background in data analytics and product development to join our innovative team inHuntsville, AL.This individual will be responsible for building, optimizing, and deploying AI-driven models, integrating data from multiple sources, and delivering actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business challenges, has experience bringing AI products to market, and a track record of using data to improve processes, products, and services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain ML/DL models for various AI applications. Continuously refine models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights. Develop hypotheses, design experiments, and validate findings using statistical methods.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines ensuring data quality and usability. Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure.
• Support AI product development from prototyping to deployment and monitoring. Work with product managers, designers, and QA teams to integrate AI features.
• Ensure scalable and efficient AI models and systems. Address latency and throughput to ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams for intuitive AI features. Translate complex AI functionalities into user-friendly interfaces.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Maintain best practices for secure coding, data protection, and ethical AI.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for AI model performance and product KPIs. Conduct ongoing maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Communicate project status, findings, and roadblocks to stakeholders.
• Stay current with AI research, tools, and best practices. Recommend emerging AI techniques to enhance product strategies and business objectives.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field and two (2) years' experience; Six (6) years' related experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).

Clearance Requirements:

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.

Required Experience/Skills:

• 2+ years of experience working on AI, machine learning, or data analytics projects.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying AI/ML modelsin a production environment.
• Experience with product developmentlife cycles and Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQLdatabases, and data processing frameworks like Apache Sparkor Hadoop.
• Experience using analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Plotly).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP) for model deployment and data storage (preferred).
• Strong problem-solvingabilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projectssimultaneously.

Desired Experience/Skills:

• Masters degree in AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with MLOps pipelinesand CI/CD.
• Background in UX/UI collaborationfor AI-focused products.
