As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols throughout the location. In this primarily driving post, you will be responsible for traversing different areas, responding to various situations, and providing exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests. Strong communication and a professional demeanor are key as you interact with people and address any security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Document and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
- Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to the unique environment of a technology-focused location.
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain awareness of new procedures and policies relevant to the assignment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required for positions where driving is necessary and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
