As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing meals that meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during meal preparation.
• Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for seasonal dishes or specials.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling food products and operating kitchen equipment.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within the restaurant or catering industry.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a dietary department is a plus, particularly for those interested in specialized meal preparation.
