The Accounts Payable Clerk plays a critical role in managing and processing invoices and payments within the organization. Primarily responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment to vendors, this position involves data entry, expense tracking, and compliance monitoring. The clerk reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations and handles a monthly volume of 100-500 invoices, utilizing specialized accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized record-keeping and document filing systems
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and discrepancies
• Track expenses and assist with account reconciliation
• Generate reports to support financial oversight and compliance
• Monitor adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
• Perform accurate data entry using designated accounting software

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Problem-solving mindset
