Essential Functions:

• Responsible for handling, triaging, and working NOC tickets according to processes and procedures.
• Ensure client servers, endpoints, and network devices maintain the newest released patches.
• Create documentation for client environments including network diagrams.
• Document and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the NOC Team.
• Responsible for handling proactive communications with clients and setting expectations during service outages.
• Configuring, handling and setting up customer endpoints for shipment.
• Unboxing and setting up hardware to be configured.
• Boxing and preparing for shipment of hardware.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Software management and deployment
• Hardware management and deployment
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Two (2) years of IT or related experience.
• Security+ CE Certification or IAT Level 2 equivalent

Administrative skills in several operating systems, such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android, and iPhone OS

Proficient in Mobile Device Management (MDM)

• Basic networking, supporting, and monitoring of Firewalls, Switches, WAPS, endpoints, servers, etc. Administrative experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) Tools
• Administrative understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure
• Experience managing antivirus at an administrative level.
• Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and technical personnel in high-stress situations.
• Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development.
• Ability to identify and evaluate trends in industry best practices and policies.

Optional / Desired

• Basic Microsoft, CompTIA, and/or Cisco certifications etc.
  • MD-102,
  • Server+,
  • Network+
• Experience supporting VDI environments.
• Experience supporting Linux.
• Experience Managing SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Power tools
• Experience with vulnerability management
• Scripting, PowerShell, CLI, etc.

Work Conditions

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. May occasionally need to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these solutions.
