Growing sheet metal manufacturer seeking a Plant Maintenance Specialist to handle day to day
maintenance responsibilities of equipment and facilities. Candidate should have strong organizational
and time management skills. Candidate should be able to communicate with a variety of people
including machine operators, outside maintenance technicians, department supervisors and company
management.
Responsibilities:
Must have working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of manufacturing
equipment as well as facilities systems.
Schedule and assist service engineers from various equipment manufactures with preventative
maintenance as well as break down situations.
Maintain inventory of spare parts for equipment in order to minimize down time situations.
Frequently inspect equipment and facilities to proactively detect potential problems and
recommend the necessary repair or replacement.
Be able to lift 75 pounds.
Hours / Compensation
Normal work hours are 6:30 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday. Additional hours may be required on a
case-by-case basis if a machine is down. This is a salaried position with an expected range of 50K-70K per
year based on experience.
