Automation Electrician (PLC/VFD Specialist)

The offer

• Pay: $38 – $42 per hour, DOE
• Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation after training; alternating day and night shifts
• Requirement: Successful completion of the Work Keys test (administered as needed)

What you’ll do

• Champion safety protocols and procedures at every step
• Triage and resolve electrical/instrumentation failures with urgency
• Execute PMs, repairs, equipment installs, and commissioning activities
• Read and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Install conduit, cable, and electrical gear cleanly and to spec
• Troubleshoot PLCs, motor starters, relays, solenoids, flow instruments, motors, circuits, proximity sensors, thermocouples, electric heaters, and VFDs
• Pitch in on other related tasks as assigned

Preferred background

• Journeyman electrician experience
• Journeyman instrumentation technician experience

Physical demands

• Lift up to 50 lbs without accommodation
• Navigate stairs (20–30 steps) and climb straight ladders (15–18 feet)
• Push/pull loads on rollers or carts
• Operate independently and within a team setting
