International Concepts currently seeks a Full time Custodian Worker to service our facilities in the Birmingham area.
Join our team as a full-time Custodian Worker and become a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic role offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities through hands-on cleaning, maintenance, and custodial tasks. As a Custodian, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our spaces are well-maintained, hygienic, and inviting for everyone who enters. Day and night availability and ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping and mopping, to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Handle janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness during scheduled shifts by following established cleaning procedures for commercial or residential environments.
• Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to handle larger or more complex cleaning tasks.
• Ensure all custodial activities comply with safety protocols and environmental standards to create a secure workspace for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within commercial or residential settings.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and bending or kneeling as required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus but not mandatory.
