Step into an impactful contract opportunity working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a focus on supporting students through a maternity leave coverage for the first semester of the school year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference, providing expertise and guidance in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. As a long-term substitute, you’ll collaborate with school teams to deliver essential behavioral support and help students navigate new learning challenges.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement behavior intervention plans
- Strong organizational skills with a solution-focused mindset
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the interim BCBA for the semester, working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address students’ behavioral needs
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop/adjust intervention strategies
- Train and support staff in behavioral techniques and data collection methods
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on behavioral goals and progress
- Monitor and document student data to ensure effective interventions and compliance with district policies
