As a Screener with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location, you will help monitor entry activity, screen visitors and team members, and support access control processes while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and contribute to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal belongings entering the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document visitor and/or delivery activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, noting conditions and reporting security-related concerns or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
