T3 Dumpsters is roll off rental company located in Shelby County Alabama and is actively searching for a sales representative for the central Alabama waste market. This is a new position within our small company that we have decided to test out and see if we can generate additional clients and customers within our geographic area by implementing an outside, in the field, sales representative. The ideal candidate would obviously benefit from having good experience and a background in the waste, construction, demolition (or similarly related field), where a roll off container would be needed. Our idea and goal for having a sales representative is straightforward: To increase our customer base, which in turn will generate more income for the business. As for day-to-day activities and how the sales representative will function, will be completely up to that individual; whether it’s face to face visits, onsite contact visits, cold calling, referrals, etc. will all be up to you and your previous history or imagination. You may only need or want to do this part-time, will actively working in another role, or you may make this a full-time position. Your everyday activities and time spent will be completely up to you! This is also why having prior experience in a related industry or field of work is in your best interest. This position will be a 1099-MISC/Contractor setup, but payment preferences will be dictated by you and discussed upon interview of how you would like to be compensated; whether it be a percentage of sales you make (commission), a weekly/monthly base rate, hourly rate, etc. You will have the say so in that, as long as it makes sense for us on our end as well.
