Furnace Helpers Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 07:00pm )

• Assist skilled operators in the loading, unloading, and safe operation of industrial furnaces, specifically supporting hot forging processes.
• Prepare and move raw materials, components, and finished products within the production area, using appropriate tools and material handling equipment.
• Perform general labor tasks, including maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, sweeping, and organizing tools and materials.
• Industrial manufacturing setting with primary focus on hot forging operations.
• Exposure to elevated temperatures, significant noise levels, dust, and potential fumes.
• Fast-paced, physically demanding, and safety-critical environment.
• Team-oriented atmosphere with a strong emphasis on communication and workplace safety.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching for extended periods.
• Comfortable and able to work effectively in hot and noisy conditions while wearing required PPE.
• This is a rotating shift position with a consistent schedule of five 12-hour shifts per week (Monday to Friday). MUST BE ABLE TO ROTATE EVERY 4 DAYS FROM 1ST SHIFT TO 2ND SHIFT

Furnace Helpers Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of workplace safety principles and a commitment to safe work practices.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks for long durations.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Preferred Skills:
• Forklift operation experience (specifically Sit-Down forklift certification or demonstrated experience).
• Previous warehouse, general industrial, or manufacturing labor experience.
• Familiarity with hot forging processes or experience working in high-temperature industrial environments.
• Proven ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
