Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of K–12 students as an on-site School Psychologist or Psychometrist within a vibrant school community near Mobile, AL. This contract opportunity begins 3/23/2025 and runs through 5/29/2026, with strong potential for extension into ESY and the following school year, contingent upon performance. You'll work 37.5 hours per week, supporting either Forest Hill Elementary or serving an itinerant role across Beacon of Hope Christian School and nearby campuses (school list to follow).

On-site presence is required—candidates must be prepared for in-person interviews on April 15, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Alabama school psychology license (must provide proof of licensure)
• Demonstrated experience working with K–12 populations in a school setting
• Flexibility and adaptability—may serve multiple campuses in an itinerant capacity
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
• Prior experience in both public and private school environments preferred, but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify learning, behavioral, and mental health needs of students
• Develop intervention plans that support student success and well-being
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and 504 meetings as a valued team member
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student engagement
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, or referral recommendations as needed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting for all assigned schools
