PMHNP - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Inpatient
Korzen Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our inpatient psychiatry team in Jasper, Alabama. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management for inpatient populations.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Participate in treatment planning, daily rounding, and care coordination .
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care for patients transitioning to outpatient settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Board Certified PMHNP or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience .
- Active or license-eligible in Alabama .
- DEA certification or ability to obtain.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital-based inpatient psychiatric setting .
