JOB TITLE: Military Vehicle Mechanic - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $45/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance Requirement: Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance

• Shift: 4/10A 1st Shift

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary:

• Perform installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of field equipment

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime

• Analyze and evaluate product performance and implement corrective actions

• Support field changes in coordination with engineering

• Maintain effective communication and relations with customers

• Provide on-site training to customer support personnel as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance

• High School Diploma or GED

• Familiarity with gasoline and diesel engines

• Strong vehicle troubleshooting skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a diesel mechanic working on bulldozers and/or large diesel engines

• Prior experience with both gasoline and diesel engine systems
