This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Experience with various tools and techniques, including welding and calibration, is essential. Working four 10-hour shifts but often extending to 60 hours a week indicates a high level of commitment and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities: Repair and maintain industrial rotating equipment such as pumps, heat elements, gearboxes, etc. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with a root cause mindset. Perform welding, calibration, and other technical tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Use hand tools and power tools effectively. Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Skills and Experience Needed: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience with hand tools, welding, calibration, and reading blueprints. Ability to diagnose and repair various types of industrial equipment. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
