Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions)

Description

We are seeking a motivated and personable Licensed Sales Agent to join our growing team in Birmingham, AL. This is an in-office, client facing role focused on building strong local relationships and serving the insurance needs of your community. Please note: This is not a remote position. You must have active Property, Casualty, and Life insurance licenses prior to employment.

Pay Details

• The typical training salary is $55k - $65k
• $1,000 Professional Start Bonus
• Through a combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, typical total first year compensation ranges from $55k - $75k
• Potential for top performers to earn over $100k in their first year

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers.
• Active state insurance license in Property & Casualty, and Life.

• Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills

• Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines
