• Location: Fredericksburg, VA 22401
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Department
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)
• Start Date: September 23, 2025
• End Date: December 23, 2025
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30 or 07:30 – 18:00); rotating on-call and holidays required
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2450 - $2510 per week
• Patient Caseload: Approximately 25 patients per day
• First-time travelers accepted

Interventional Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Valid Virginia State License or Compact License (temporary license accepted)
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (VI) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with PACS, biopsies, and contrast administration
• Experience in IR/Angio special procedures (stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, vascular studies, venous access, LP myelogram)
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Completion of up to 8 hours of onboarding modules within 1 week of signing

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures for inpatient, emergency, and outpatient populations
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Siemens preferred)
• Administer contrast agents and assist with biopsies and special procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, midlevel providers, nurses, and technologists to deliver high-quality patient care
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
• Participate in rotating on-call and holiday coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC (preferred)
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
