  • Perform electronic assembly support tasks related to circuit boards and other electronic products, following blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Verify component identification and ensure that the correct parts are used for each job, minimizing errors and rework.
  • Support purchasing and material buying activities by identifying required components and assisting with material availability tracking, as needed.
  • Use RF scanners and other inventory management tools to track materials, monitor stock levels, and update records in real time.
  • Assist with electronic testing, assembly, and final inspection activities to help ensure products meet IPC-A-610, IPC 610, IPC 620, J-STD, AS9100, and other applicable quality standards.
  • Conduct quality inspection of kitted materials and finished assemblies, checking for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow, timely delivery of kits, and adherence to manufacturing schedules.
  • Step up to provide leadership and team support when the Facility Security Officer or designated leader is out, helping coordinate activities and maintain compliance with facility requirements.
  • Follow all work instructions, safety guidelines, and security protocols associated with defense-related electronics manufacturing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in inventory control, kitting processes, and overall logistics efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in electronic manufacturing within an inventory or warehouse environment.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic assembly and PCB-related processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions.
  • Knowledge of component identification for electronic parts such as resistors and capacitors.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC 610, IPC 620, J-STD standards and their application to electronic assembly and inspection.
  • Understanding of AS9100 quality management principles in an electronics or aerospace manufacturing context.
  • Experience with inventory management, logistics, and kitting of electronic components.
  • Ability to perform electronic testing and support final inspection activities.
  • Proficiency using RF scanners or similar tools for tracking inventory and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a mission-critical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured, process-driven production setting.
  • Willingness and ability to pass required screening processes.
  • Ability to work a 4/10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Leadership or team lead experience, with the ability to step in and support facility oversight when needed.
  • Preferred experience assisting with or performing material buying and procurement for electronic components.
  • Prior exposure to defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple kitting and inventory tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with production, quality, and logistics teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in inventory and kitting processes.
