CVOR Registered Nurse - Millbrook, Alabama
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Proficient in scrubbing and circulating CVOR procedures
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability during complex surgeries
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment and respond calmly under pressure Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care throughout the perioperative process for cardiovascular surgical cases
- Assist surgeons by circulating and/or scrubbing during operative procedures
- Monitor patient status and vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the surgical team
- Maintain a sterile field and follow all infection control standards meticulously
- Prepare, select, and handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal surgical outcomes
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely in medical records
- Aid in patient advocacy, safety checks, and compliance with hospital protocols
- Exposure to diverse and challenging cardiovascular surgical cases
- Supportive work setting with experienced surgical and nursing teams
