As a Transportation Supervisor , you will play a key role in leading and supporting the Transportation Department to deliver exceptional hospitality and seamless transportation services. Acting as a representative of hotel management, you will take charge of daily operations, resolve guest concerns, and provide leadership that fosters a positive and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to supervising the transportation team, you will assist bell staff, gate, and transportation operations with a strong focus on vehicle safety and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Oversee daily activities of transportation drivers, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to ensure efficient operations and superior guest service.
- Guest Engagement: Interact with guests in a warm and professional manner, assisting with requests and ensuring their transportation experience exceeds expectations.
- Training & Development: Train and onboard new hires, conduct cross-training, and empower associates to deliver excellent customer service in alignment with Marriott Autograph Collection standards.
- Operational Oversight: Manage transportation bookings, maintain accurate service records, and ensure seamless scheduling for optimal efficiency.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor vehicle records, oversee routine maintenance, and administer road tests to ensure all drivers and vehicles meet safety and service standards.
- Communication & Leadership: Foster open, ongoing communication with associates to share business objectives, recognize achievements, and drive team performance.
- Service Excellence: Review guest feedback, address concerns, and implement corrective action plans to continuously enhance the guest experience.
- Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to support bell staff, gate operations, and guest services.
- Professional Presence: Represent hotel management when needed, addressing guest or operational concerns promptly and effectively.
