Remote or Office Typist Clerk

$29 per hour Full time or Part time (Remote)
Weekend shifts available
As a Remote/Office File Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining and organizing company files and documents. You will be responsible for ensuring that all physical and digital records are properly labeled and stored, easily accessible, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize physical and digital files in a systematic and efficient manner
- Label and categorize files according to company standards
- Perform regular audits of files to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist team members in locating and retrieving necessary documents
- Create and update file index and inventory as needed
- Manage and track file movement and document distribution
- Ensure compliance with company privacy and security policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve file management processes and practices
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education is a plus
- Proven experience in file management and organization
- Proficient in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Prior experience in a remote work setting is preferred but not required
