The schools’ reputations for high-quality education, outstanding facilities, and innovative use of technology are well established in the UAE.The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys is seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Specialist to support the maintenance and operation of school facilities and systems. The successful candidate will carry out hands-on maintenance and repair work across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and minor civil disciplines while ensuring all facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.This role also supports planned preventive maintenance (PPM), contractor coordination, technical inspections, and maintenance documentation through MaintainX. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, multi-trade maintenance experience, and the ability to work effectively within a busy school environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance, repair, and installation works across multiple disciplinesConduct facility inspections and respond to maintenance issues promptlyPerform and record preventive maintenance activities using MaintainXSupport contractor coordination, technical scope reviews, and supplier engagementMaintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reportingEnsure compliance with health, safety, and operational requirementsPosition Requirements: (please only apply if you meet the below criteria)Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related disciplineMinimum 4 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or FM environmentsStrong technical troubleshooting and maintenance skillsExperience with CMMS platforms such as MaintainXAbility to read technical drawings and schematicsGood English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)We Offer:Renewable fixed-term contract for 2 yearsCompetitive tax-free salaryLocal health insuranceAnnual flight allowanceIf you would like to apply for this position, please submit the application form and your CV.
