Position Role : The Physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, managing chronic and acute conditions, and promoting overall wellness. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centered, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Duties

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work, imaging, and screenings.
  • Counsel patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.
  • Provide emergency care and stabilize patients as necessary.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary and oversee continuity of care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with regulatory and organizational policies.
  • Adhere to state and federal medical regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
  • Stay current on advancements in medical practices, treatments, and healthcare regulations.

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education (CME).
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to medical staff and trainees.
  • Contribute to community health initiatives and patient education programs.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or board eligibility preferred
  • Valid and unrestricted state medical license.
  • DEA certification for prescribing medications.
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.
