Bookkeeper / Title Clerk

Worktrux is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Title Clerk with dealership experience to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys staying organized, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles and registrations accurately
• Handle Alabama title work through ALVIN
• Process dealer paperwork and maintain compliance
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
• Process sales paperwork using Dealertrack DMS
• File Alabama sales tax and other tax obligations through My Alabama Taxes (MAT)
• Assist with monthly bookkeeping and reporting
• Organize and maintain deal jackets and accounting records
• Communicate with banks, customers, tag offices, and vendors as needed
• Support the sales and management teams with accounting and administrative tasks

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous automotive dealership bookkeeping and/or title clerk experience
• Experience using ALVIN
• Experience with Dealertrack DMS
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

• Experience filing through My Alabama Taxes (MAT)
• Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
• Accounting or bookkeeping background
