We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety and Environmental Manager to lead and implement safety protocols across our operations. This role will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and minimizing risk to personnel, property, and the environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial or manufacturing safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a small team while working collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide safety programs and policies

• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; implement corrective actions

• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other federal/state/local safety regulations

• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks for employees at all levels

• Maintain safety documentation and reporting systems

• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and HR to improve workplace safety

• Supervise and guide a small team (approximately 4 people)

• Serve as primary contact for regulatory agency inspections and safety audits

• Promote a proactive, safety-first culture across all work areas

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a safety leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Proven ability to train teams and foster accountability

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field (preferred)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, OSHA 30/510/511) are a plus

Schedule

• Full-time role with a 5 x 8 shift
