Heavy Duty Mechanic
Description of the role: As a Heavy Duty Mechanic at McSweeney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Pell City, AL, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and inspecting heavy-duty trucks, service vehicles, and other vehicles. This role requires a high level of mechanical knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and fixing a variety of mechanical issues. Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and developing appropriate solutions
- Inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards
- Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Certification in heavy-duty vehicle mechanics, CDJR brand certificates a plus
- Proven experience working as a mechanic on heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
