Our client, a leading organization in industrial and logistics services, is seeking a Sanitation Associate to join their team. As a Sanitation Associate, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Associate

Location: Calera, AL

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse facilities, including cleaning dock plates and sweeping dock areas
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Assist in maintaining the organization and sanitation of the work environment
• Support general upkeep of the grounds and parking areas
• Adhere to safety protocols and use provided PPE, including steel-toe shoes from day one

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience in custodial or sanitation roles preferred
• Ability to work in a cold and dry environment with temperatures ranging from 38&degree;F to warm on the dry dock
• Strong attention to detail and responsibility
• Reliable and able to follow safety guidelines
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as sweeping and lifting trash
