This role offers an exciting opportunity to support virtual speech therapy services in a dynamic educational setting near Spanish Fort, AL. Serving as an on-site paraprofessional or speech aide, you will play an essential part in facilitating communication services for K-12 students across multiple private schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate virtual speech therapy sessions by acting as the hands and feet for the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), ensuring students receive effective, real-time support.
• Assist students during remote sessions including speech, psychological, and other related therapies.
• Serve as the critical on-site connection between students and clinicians, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
• Manage technology used during sessions, troubleshooting and guiding students as needed to maximize therapy effectiveness.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with all parties should any issues or changes arise during therapy sessions.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher, preferably within a K-12 educational environment.
• Comfort and proficiency with technology; prior training on virtual therapy platforms is provided.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, clinicians, and parents.
• Local to the area, U.S. citizenship, at least 18 years of age.
• Ready to provide two professional references.

Location and Schedule:

• Multiple private schools clustered near Spanish Fort, AL.
• Itinerant position serving several campuses.
• Approximately 15 hours per week, generally scheduled within typical school hours (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM), with some variability dependent on virtual SLP sessions.
• Contract position running from March 2026 through May 29, 2026.
