A rewarding opportunity awaits an enthusiastic Secondary English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher eager to inspire and challenge students. This full-time contract position focuses on engaging learners and fostering growth in English Language Arts at the secondary school level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic, standards-based English Language Arts instruction to secondary students
- Create and implement lesson plans in alignment with Alabama state educational standards
- Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to maximize student achievement
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and classroom activities
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Teacher Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with an endorsement in English
- Effective classroom management and strong communication skills
- A proactive commitment to student engagement, achievement, and educational excellence
