Are you who we are looking for?

Our team is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in the Orange Beach office. We have seen exponential growth in our services over the past two years and are looking for the right person to jump in and get the job done.

Of course our ideal candidate will have all those buzz word characteristics you’ve come to expect from a job posting: effective communications, positive attitude, strong work ethic, self motivation and on down the list.

To be technical about it, our Accountant will be expected to:

● be responsible for all daily, monthly, quarterly and year end accounting functions. This includes all Asset, Liability, Equity, Income and Expense accounts. Some of the major categories include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Deferred Revenue and Work in Process.

● prepare client invoices, post payments, make deposits and perform collection duties as needed.

● be responsible for all general ledger reconciliations, analysis of financial accounts and preparation of journal entries. Provide end-of-month close and produce monthly financial statements.

● perform all activities in accordance with GAAP and maintain the accounting records accurately, timely and in compliance with laws and regulations.

● gather and submit payroll biweekly to ADP.

● tackle other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Does your resume include the following?

● At least 2 years of Quickbooks Desktop experience (Required)

● Experience with payroll preparation and submission to third party processor (Required)

● Experience in use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Products including Drive, Sheets, & Docs

● Extremely organized and great at managing deadlines
