You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization requirements for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required records related to patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
