Maintenance Assistant

Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the facility grounds and assisting with general maintenance services inside and outside the facility.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with mechanics, carpentry, electrical, painting etc. Minimum of one (1) year experience in related field
- Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written or oral diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to organize work schedule to meet work order demands
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Must be capable of performing the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOB FUNCTIONS
