Altius Solutions is seeking reliable and driven individuals to join our team as Header & Threader Operator Trainee. This role is essential to our cold-forming operations and play a vital role in supporting the production of high-performance fasteners. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates looking to start or grow a career in advanced manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate single- and multi-die cold heading machines
• Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
• Comply with work instructions and in-process quality control procedures
• Inspect parts using gages and measurement tools
• Monitor machine operation and track production progress
• Transport and manage production materials including dumping pans and welding wire
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety guidelines
• Work independently and as part of a production team in varying environmental conditions

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn and grow within a structured training program
• Ability to work in hot or cold conditions and perform physical tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation is helpful but not required
