Building Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mobile, AL, 36608. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all occupants. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Conduct repairs on doors, windows, and other structural components.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events and meetings as needed.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in building maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and climbing.
