Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered family.

Essential Functions

• SQL Server Administrator, maintaining and ensuring all SQL Servers are running properly and in compliance.
• Administration of Information Technology infrastructure including Microsoft Servers, ESX VMware, Clustering, and Storage Area Network (SAN).
• Administers Cloud Resources such as Containers, Blobs, Data Shares, etc.
• Manages Active Directory and DNS preferred.
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots servers and systems to ensure a stable and reliable server infrastructure in dynamic fast-changing environment.
• Ensure Information Systems (IS) security, IA compliance and ensures policies and procedures are followed while maintaining their confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Responsible for support of mission-critical systems and infrastructure used for day-to-day operations.
• Deep and broad experience with Microsoft server technologies.
• Understanding and experience with ESX VMware server technologies.
• Experience performing second and third-level Windows server operations support.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft clustering, SAN, Linux, and other systems administration experience desirable.

Required Education and Experience

• Must meet one of the following at a minimum: a) Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field and three (3) years' experience, or b) seven (7) years' experience supporting and/or managing Microsoft server products.
• Experience providing tier 2 or higher support for server technologies such as Active Directory, SAN/NAS, VMware, SQL, or IIS, required.
• Must meet baseline certification requirements in accordance with DoD 8570 IAT-II category or higher.
