Our client is looking for a key role in their Production Team, a Fixed (Crown & Bridge) Supervisor. The Fixed Supervisor directs and coordinates lab production work to obtain optimum efficiency by learning all areas of our client's technical production aspects in C&B and the ability to get the work out accurately/timely. The ability to appropriately assign or delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals. Ensures Operational excellence, inspire top performance, and empower team to be the best they can be every single day in an effort to drive the client's successes in the Dental Technical Area. The department manager will primarily be responsible for providing leadership, direction and support to supervisors and employees to ensure patient, financial and operational success.

Experience:

Minimum ten (10) years in crown and bridge specifically in contouring, anatomy, morphology, and building of cases (CDT preferred)

3Shape & exocad digital design expertise

Implant restoration experience

Proven experience in a leadership role

Must exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance when managing the department, supervising employees and working with customers

Requires manual dexterity, strong attention to detail and good spatial and visual perception

Requires flexibility and adaptability to meet laboratory demands

Ability to communicate with lab personnel and customers regarding technical ramifications and appliance designs

Must be able to motivate and direct the work of other technicians, create an environment of teamwork and be willing to answer questions

Ability to teach & train other newer technicians

Ability to work with limited supervision

Duties & Responsibilities:

Distribute customer cases to appropriate Supervisors/Technicians based on technicians knowledge, skills, and demonstrable abilities

Coordinate the workflow of customer cases within each department from initial setup to completion of appliance

Ensure technicians are being supervised in the fabrication processes of dental appliances

Review and evaluate with Supervisors customer cases and production schedules to ensure timely completion of work

Ensure inspection of customer cases at key stages in the fabrication process to ensure specifications and standards are met

Fabricate, alter or repair dental appliances according to customers instructions on the prescription form when need arises in the department.

Responsible for evaluating performance of technicians and supervisors

Handle customer issues, communicate case alternatives with GM and Director for customers. Take responsibility for specific appliance sales and may be required to demonstrate appliances/techniques

Ensure that proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed by technicians

Maintain a neat and clean department workspace to prevent workplace damage and minimize potential for injury

Package:

Generous compensation range of $110k to $140k/year DOE
