We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure superior experience for our customers and team members alike.
Position Summary:
As the Service Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll manage a team of technicians and service advisors while driving performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, customer communication, and technician support.
- Lead, train, and motivate service advisors and technicians to meet company goals.
- Ensure all service operations comply with safety, environmental, and company standards.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics and handle customer concerns or escalations.
- Develop and implement processes to increase productivity and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of repair orders, parts usage, and service histories.
- Collaborate with parts and sales departments to support overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Service Manager, Service Advisor, or similar role in an automotive environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance procedures, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with service management software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc.).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
