Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in a high school setting serving grades 9 through 12. This role begins on August 6th and offers a contract for the school year. The teacher will work in a resource classroom environment, providing targeted support to a caseload of 15 to 20 students.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning needs.
• Delivering specialized instruction in a resource classroom setting.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to promote student success.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintaining accurate records and munication with parents and school personnel.
• Ensuring pliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Desired qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in special education.
• Experience working with high school students, preferably in a resource room or inclusion setting.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent organizational and munication skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and structured learning environment.
