Our world-class construction company is in need of a hardworking full-time construction field assistant! Your daily work schedule will include assisting with forward planning, ensuring the job site is clean, and coordinating the preparation of buildings for the final walk-through. $18 - $20 hourly

• Develop your construction skills and technique by helping the construction manager, contractors, project engineers, and builders with all aspects of the job and the daily procedures of the project so it’s completed quickly
• Coordinate on-site material deliveries, prepare materials for returns, fill out purchase orders, remove debris, and handle waste removal properly
• Complete final preparations and walk homes or buildings with the construction manager and the client
• Document job changes and daily construction work tasks to assist the project manager with paperwork
• Take part in the forward planning process to ensure the building will be well-maintained in the future

• Assist the installation crew on siding, windows, and deck replacement projects across north Alabama
• Learn installation processes & gain product knowledge for increased responsibility in the future
• Grow into an installer role with increased compensation
• Maintain Freedom Exteriors' quality standards on every project

• Able to work outdoors for long periods of time, and be able to climb ladders and stairs
• Possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Understand some basic skills and construction methods and know how to use some construction tools and equipment
• Proven track record of adhering to project schedules, being a team player, regular attendance at work, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
