Empower young learners and make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary school community. This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated SLP with a passion for transforming student communication skills and fostering confidence in the classroom setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP state license and Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is desirable
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time and manage a diverse elementary caseload
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to approximately 50 elementary students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student needs
- Collaborate with school teams, including teachers and support staff, to ensure holistic care and support strategies
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and engage in data-driven decision-making
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide educational support to staff and families regarding speech-language development
- Work onsite Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM, following the academic calendar
